Buster the staffordshire bull terrier hit the campaign trail in the dog eat dog world of politics with the Tories in Romford over the weekend.
Mo Metcalf-Fisher, a member of the grass roots political group Conservative Future, was out canvassing with Romford MP Andrew Rosindell and tweeted a picture of himself with the politico pooch.
He tweeted: “Today I’m campaigning with @AndrewRosindell in Romford with ‘Buster’ the dog! Great reception #voteconservative.”
A fellow conservative Councillor in the north west, Syd Lloyd, member for Bredbury Green and Romiley Ward on Stockport council has also employed his dog when canvassing for the up coming elections, even setting her up with her own twitter account @EllieTheToryDog and tweeting humorous updates on her campaign escapades.
