Watches, jewellery and a large TV were among a burglary haul found in a stolen car that had been abandoned in Havering.
The grey Ford Kuga was discovered earlier this month in Rainham.
It had taken when thieves broke into a house in Billericay, Essex, on February 11.
An eagle-eyed resident reported it to police after noticing the registration on the tax disc was different to the number plates. Essex officers believe that the car was fitted with false number plates and may have been used during the course of other burglaries in and around Essex.
Police have now released photographs in the hope of reuniting items with their rightful owners.
A large LCD television found in the vehicle has been identified and returned to the rightful owner in the Chelmsford area of Essex.
Anyone who recognises any of the items in these photos should contact the investigating officer Pc Wayne Callaghan at Basildon CID on 101.
