A support worker from Brentwood has won the top prize in St Francis Hospice’s lottery – for the second time!

Julie Alborough won 1,000 on November 11, 2011, with her lottery number, and just over a year later she won again.

She said: “It’s a really lucky number. I’ve got a few numbers in the draw now but it’s the same one that has won both times!

“I can now spend on Christmas presents without putting anything on the credit card. My daughter’s getting married next year so it will be very handy for that too.”

Julie signed up to the St Francis Hospice lottery after her step-father in Surrey received hospice care and her mother received post-bereavement care.
