A super summer of showjumping success has set up a 14-year-old horse rider perfectly for a prestigious horse riding competition.

Brentwood School student Eloise Squibb and her pony Rudgeway Maestro could not be faulted at last month's 2019 British Showjumping National Championships held at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre Stoneleigh (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry.

Eloise was up against a field of 34 of the UK's best young riders and an early draw in the jump off meant the pressure was on to be quick.

Eloise will be taking part in Horse of the Year Show - the highlight of the equestrian calendar - next month.
