Brentwood: Police advice to secure properties over Christmas

Police in Brentwood are warning residents to take extra precautions to protect their homes in the lead-up to the Christmas period.

The advice comes following a burglary at a house in Eastham Crescent on December 13. The house was broken into but nothing was taken.

Essex police are appealing to anyone who was in the area during the day to early evening and saw anyone acting suspiciously to contact them.

DC Sarah-Louise Austin said: “Fortunately nothing was taken but the front door was damaged. Anyone who sees someone acting suspiciously around a home should immediately call police.”
