A Brentwood man has cycled 250 miles from Cambodia to Vietnam to help disabled ex-servicemen.
Jack Gardner’s efforts raised 3,700 for the British Limbless Ex-Service Men’s Association (Blesma) charity.
The 24-year-old said: “I saw the cycle challenge in a newspaper. I signed up thinking it would be a great experience and it would be good to raise money.”
Starting out from Saigon on November 14 in a group of 40, the challenge saw Jack cycling 50 miles a day. He also had to brave temperatures ranging from 30 to 35 degrees.
