Two Brentwood fire crews were called to a mobile home fire.
It was in Hop Gardens, School Road, in Ongar at about 10.15am this morning.
One man suffered smoke inhalation and crews gave him oxygen at the scene.
Firefighters damped down and checked the area for hotspots before leaving just after 11am.
