Brentwood coffee lovers have helped raise 265 at a coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Staff at Specsavers, in the High Street, hosted the event on Friday as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
They cooked up some sweet treats including cakes and provided hot drinks in return for donations to the charity.
Store director Manoj Patel said: “We were delighted to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support as the work they do is invaluable to so many people.”
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is an annual campaign that encourages establishments across the UK to host coffee mornings in aid of the charity.
