SNAP (Special Needs and Parents), in Pastoral Way, Warley, wants anyone with an interest in the charity to drop into their unique facility to see the services and activities that they provide for the 2,800 families they are currently supporting.

SNAP helps families with children and young people who have any special need or disability and has now offered a lifeline to more than 5,000 families since the charity began 25 years ago.

The SNAP team annually transforms its Warley base into a pop-up tearoom for the day with refreshments and sweet treats in a-bun-dance at their Coffee, Cake and Catch-up event that showcases the charity's passion for supporting Essex families.

The SNAP team also offer tours for people who are new to the work of the charity and there will be an opportunity to view their latest film.

SNAP director Karen Boath said: "Our Coffee, Cake and Catch-up open day is always a popular event and this year - a special one for SNAP - promises to be better than ever before.

"We hope the local community will turn out in force to find out more about us and support the work we do to help families across Essex and beyond."

SNAP's Coffee, Cake and Catch-up will be held at the charity on Wednesday, November 6, between 11 and 2pm.

Entry costs £3 per person and will include a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
