Brentwood and Ongar MP Eric Pickles will be backing the fight against breast cancer next month.

Breast Cancer Campaign is asking everyone to wear something pink on Friday, October 26, to support its ‘Wear It Pink’ campaign and to donate 2.

This year will also include a superhero theme so you can dress up as your favourite character to also raise awareness and fundraise for the charity.

Mr Pickles said: “Every year in the UK, around 48,000 women and 340 men are diagnosed with breast cancer. This is why we all need to support wear it pink day on 26 October, so that Breast Cancer Campaign can continue to fund research which will one day lead to a cure.”
