A Royal Liberty schoolboy has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a road traffic collision earlier this afternoon (Friday).
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car were called to the school in Upper Brentwood Road, Romford, just after 3.10pm. The incident involved a single car and the boy, who was on foot.
Ambulance staff were on the scene within seven minutes, where they treated the boy - reported to be 15 years old - for a head injury. He was taken to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, as a priority but was alert.
