A teenager was taken to hospital after he was stabbed in Rainham.

Police were called at around 3.25pm on Tuesday (October 30) to reports of a stabbing in Ongar Way.

The boy was taken to hospital and his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening or life-changing according to the police.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) were also called to the scene.

LAS sent an incident response officer, an ambulance crew and a single responder in car to the scene.

A teenage boy was treated at the scene and was taken to hospital as a priority.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 3.28pm today to Ongar way, Rainham to reports of an incident.

“We sent an incident response officer, an ambulance crew and a single responder in car to the scene.

“We treated a teenage boy at the scene and took him as a priority to hospital.”

His next-of-kin are aware.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries continue.
