A three-strong gang robbed a teenager of his Blackberry on Tuesday evening.
The 14-year-old victim had just stepped off a bus at the junction of Suttons Lane and Vaughan Avenue, Hornchurch, when the youths approached him.
All three were wearing tracksuits with hoods up and scarves covering their faces. One demanded he hand over his phone, which he did, and the trio made off.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about it should contact Romford Police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
