FA Cup frustration for duo
Romford were sent tumbling out of the FA Cup by Conference South outfit Hampton & Richmond Borough, while Hornchurch were held to a draw by Brentwood.
Below-par Boro were sent to a 4-0 home defeat by Alan Devonshire’s men, as Dean Inman, Ian Hodges, Barrie Mathews and Dave Tarpey netted.
Urchins, meanwhile, were frustrated by a goalless draw at Bridge Avenue and will travel to Brentwood Arena for a replay tomorrow.
The draw for the third qualifying round takes place later today.
