Ryman One North: Maldon & Tiptree 0 Romford 0
Romford ended their three match losing streak with a goalless draw at Maldon & Tiptree last night.
The game survived the freezing conditions, and Boro boss Paul Martin would have been keen to return to action after Saturday’s game at Ilford was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Former Boro man Joe Pearman went close for the hosts but shot wide, while Andy Edmunds forced the Maldon & Tiptree keeper into a save.
Boro and keeper Lamar Johnson will also have been pleased with the clean sheet kept by his side, their first since the December 3 win over Great Wakering Rovers.
Romford: Johnson, Ottley, Kavanagh, J Barry, Toms, Seymour (C Barry 65), Clayton, Sullivan, Odedoyin, Reynolds (Skidmore 75), Edmunds (Oates 85).
Substitutes not used: Martin, Anderson.
