Our Dog of the Week from Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue is between three and five-years old and is a bull mastiff Boris.
Dee from the kennels in Chivers Road, Brentwood, said: "He has a superb temperament with humans, he initially pulls like a train on the lead but does calm down once in his stride.
"He is very slobbery, not cat or small furry friendly and ideally needs to be an only dog or after careful introductions, he may accept a submissive bitch of similar size.
"He needs a home where someone is not out the whole day and one where he gets the exercise he needs, he has his favourite toys and he loves to play and is happy to give his toys back so you can interact with him."
Boris travels well, children need to be a minimum of eight-years-old and used to being around large breed dogs. He is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped is looking to find a new home.
