The production designer of a worldwide hit children’s television show delivered interactive workshops to junior school pupils last week.

Curtis Jobling, of Bafta nominated Bob the Builder and author of epic fantasy novel series Wereworld, also signed copies of his book for youngsters at St Ursula’s Catholic Junior School, Straight Road, Romford.

Teacher Gemma Edwards said the pupils enjoyed the visit.

“He delivered three presentations to the children which were hugely engaging and the feedback from children and teachers was amazing.”

Pea Green Boat Books – author and illustrator events organisers – were on hand to sell books.

“Loads of children bought books and got them signed with illustrations and personal messages by Curtis,” Gemma added.
