Madame Arcati.

Madame Arcati.

The classic comic play Blithe Spirit is on show in Havering this week and is set to leave audiences in stitches.

The production, brought to you by the Guildonian Players, debuts tonight at The Little Theatre, in The Drive, Harold Wood, from 7.30pm.

The play follows the mishaps of Charles Condomine after he invites a medium, Madame Arcati, to perform a seance at his house to provide inspiration for his next book.

However things don’t go to plan as the novelist’s home becomes haunted by his first wife Elvira who attempts to disrupt his second marriage.

The Mayor of Havering, Cllr Philippa Crowder, will be in attendance on Thursday night and the play will run every night at 8pm until Saturday, when there will also be a matinee performance at 2.30pm.

To purchase tickets, which cost £7, and for more information call 01708 341442.
