The brother of a teenager who was stabbed to death is embarking on a music career to carry on his sibling’s dream.

Bernoulli Ganda, 17, of Harold Hill, lost his big brother Champion in 2013 when he was stabbed multiple times in broad daylight.

The aspiring rapper, who performed under the name Chrome, had a keen interest in music and was beginning to drum up a following with his freestyles.

But Bernoulli, who goes by his rap name Berna, only got involved in music back in January.

His first freestyle video has been viewed more than 115,000 times on Youtube, in which he talks about his life and the heartbreak of losing his brother.

The 17-year-old said: “100 per cent it’s been tough since Champion’s death, but putting my thoughts all down on paper and being able to rap about it makes it easier – I just want to finish what Champion started.

“It’s nice to have people enjoying the music out here as there is not much of a rap scene where we live so hopefully others are inspired to get involved.”

Champion’s childhood friend Sascha Clavadetscher has also become involved and is helping to manage Bernoulli.

He has paid tribute to the friend that would “break his back for people he cared about”.

Sascha has helped organised a video shoot last Friday at King’s Cross Station, on the same platform that Champion last rapped on.

He said: “I used to come to the house all the time to hang out with Champion, so I have seen Bernoulli as a young kid and grow up to who he is today.

“I have shot plenty of student music videos and it only felt right that I got involved with the project.

“It felt good to go back and do the rap at King’s Cross – it was like Champion was there with us.”
