Bellringers from St Andrew’s Church are set to ring out the bells to mark the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The church in the High Street will be joining people from across the country in ringing as many bells on July 27 at 8.12am.
The event is called Work No.1197 and is the idea of Turner Prize winning artist and musician Martin Creed.
The church is also looking for other residents to take part in the event by ringing the church handbells or ringing their own bells in the church.
