Rainham Marshes nature reserve is the subject of a special radio programme this week.
Ramblings, the BBC Radio 4 show presented by Clare Balding, will see theatre actor Sam West taking a walk around the reserve, which is bounded by the Thames and a Eurostar line, and discussing his life. West is a regular visitor to the site.
The show is broadcast on Thursday October 11 at 3pm and will be repeated on Saturday October 13 at 6.10am.
