Hundreds of balloons were released for Hornchurch boy Mitchell Huth who was laid to rest today.
Wellwishers lined the route as the seven-year-old’s coffin passed through the streets in High Street, Hornchurch today at 11.15am (Friday).
The funeral took place at St Andrew’s Church in High Street, Hornchurch and a screen was also set up outside the church so that it could be watched by wellwishers.
Mitchell, who was a pupil at Scagill Infant School in Mungo Park Road, Rainham lost his battle against cancer on Saturday August 25 after a two year fight against neuroblastoma.
