A new Hornchurch curry house celebrated its official opening with a ceremony attended by council leaders last week.
The family-run Curry Shack restaurant in North Road offers authentic Indian cuisine with a twist of more foreign influences, and celebrated its opening ceremony at a special event attended by council leader Cllr Damian White and the Mayor of Havering on Tuesday, October 23.
Anil Sehdev, owner, said: “Our flavours speak for themselves, enticing customers and bringing them back for more. Come visit us for the ultimate eastern experience with a western touch and we promise to you that once is never enough.”
Councillor Dilip Patel, Mayor of Havering, thanked the restaurant’s owners for including him in the opening ceremony.
He said: “I found that the food was of an authentic Indian taste, the staff and atmosphere was very welcoming and service was second to none.
“I wish them all the success for the future.”
