A GB athlete visited a school to give a master class in judo.

Faith Pitman, who has won competitions including the 2009 GB World Cup Gold, the 2010 European Cup Gold and the 2013 British Championship Gold, talked to pupils at Brentwood County High School about her career.

The session, organised by Sports 4 All UK Ltd, included a session giving tips about motivation, diet, nutrition and chose 25 students to teach them basic and intermediate judo techniques.

Stephen Drew, headteacher at the school, said “We were delighted to welcome Faith to our school and to learn about the high and low points of her career. I am sure she was an inspiration to all.”
