POLICE are appealing for a witness to the recent crash at Pilgrims Hatch, in which a Brentwood woman died, to come forward.
The driver of a light coloured Vauxhall Corsa, who was driving along Ashwells Road at the time of the incident, is being sought to speak to police.
Sixty-three-year-old Jane Mitchinson was killed at 9.50am on Sunday January 16 while riding a horse on Ashwells Road.
Last Sunday (January 23) officers carried out stop checks in the area and were able to trace one other witness.
The driver of the Corsa or anyone else with information are asked to contact police. They should call the serious collision investigation unit on 0300 333 4444.
