Lots of Remainers have been gloating about their various victories here in Westminster. They may be enjoying themselves now, but they won’t get the last laugh.

We've been here before. In 2016, politicians and the establishment tried to use every trick they had, from dire economic warnings to interventions from presidents and prime ministers, in order to stop Brexit. Yet as we now know, the threats of the political establishment, none of which turned out to be true, didn't stop the British people voting to leave in 2016. And it won't stop us leaving in 2019 either!

The establishment know they don't have the support of the people. Why else would our Remainer dominated parliament reject a general election? My constituents in Romford are sick and tired of Parliament's delays and scaremongering. In fact, these attempts to block Brexit are only building support for leaving the EU.

Announcing policies to revoke Article 50 or undemocratically legislating to keep us in the EU indefinitely against our will, as the Liberal Democrats and Labour have done, might win you praise among your fellow pro-European elites, but for voters in Romford and across this country, it only makes us more certain that we need to get out of the EU in order to take back control of our democracy. Boris is certain about that too. It's so refreshing to have a strong, decisive prime minister who is standing up for Britain and willing to do whatever it takes to get Brexit done!

The Conservative party used to be divided about Europe. Not anymore. After the expulsion of the 21 MPs who supported Corbyn's legislation that could allow us to be held in the EU indefinitely, I'm proud to say we are united. We have one aim: delivering Brexit. And unlike the Remain establishment, we're on the side of the British people.
