A total of 72 trains between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria have been cancelled today.

This is due to a fire at a property near the rail tracks between Raleigh and Wickford which began last night and went on until the early hours of this morning.

The disruption is expected until at least 4.30pm today with tickets being accepted on c2c and London Underground.

Other services have been affected by the incident and the 7.24am service from Shenfield to London Liverpool Street will now start from Ilford, not calling at Seven Kings, Goodmayes, Chadwell Heath, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood and Shenfield.
