Havering’s first advocacy service for disabled residents has been officially launched.
The service, run by the Havering association for people with disabilities (HAD), offers people and their carers advice and representation on matters including about benefits.
Chief executive Sharron Peel said: “It’s really about being there for people who need us.”
Havering residents with disabilities who are over 18, and their carers, can access the service.
