The A12 at Romford is now believed to have reopened following a crash in which a 22-year-old woman was taken to hospital.

The incident happened near the junction with North Street at about 8.20am. Two care were involved.

An ambulance went to the scene and took the woman to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, with back pain.

Two other people declined treatment.

Police had cordoned off a section of the road around the smash, but it has now been reopened.
