AN elderly woman was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Harold Hill yesterday afternoon.
The 88-year-old suffered injuries to her arm and head after the collision in Hilldene Avenue just after 2pm.
She was taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital, where her injuries were treated as non-life threatening.
Westdene Drive and Eastdene Drive were closed and buses diverted until 5.30pm.
