A new play cafe is set to open at a shopping centre in Romford today.
Little Wonder Street, a new role play and soft play village, will open its doors at The Liberty Shopping Centre on Thursday (October 1).
A grand opening celebration is then planned for Saturday (October 3).
The play village is designed for children aged 0 to 9 and offers a variety of themed play areas, including a mini grocery shop, ice cream parlour, veterinary clinic, stables, and fire station.
A sensory room will also be available at the venue for babies and little ones who find noises difficult.
In a post on Facebook, The Liberty Shopping Centre said: "Something BIG is coming to The Liberty Romford!
"We are so excited to welcome Little Wonder Street to the centre.
"Get ready for a brand-new world of imagination, adventure and play, where little explorers can step into exciting role-play experiences, spark their creativity and make magical memories with family and friends.
"And that's not all... Little Wonder Street will also feature a dedicated sensory room, creating an inclusive space where every child can play, explore and feel comfortable."
The play village is designed to encourage learning through play in a safe and engaging environment and allows children to take on different roles, whether serving customers, caring for animals, or becoming firefighters.
Parents are also catered for, with an on-site cafe serving coffee and food, and the venue will also be available for birthday parties.
Renovation works were previously spotted in progress through the unit's window, with a cafe counter and a soft play area visible.
Little Wonder Street said the space is meant to spark "endless fun" and imagination.
In a post on Instagram, Little Wonder Street: "Designed for little explorers aged 0-9 years, there’ll be plenty of fun, imagination and adventure waiting for them!
"From our very own stables where little ones can groom a pony, to running their own ice cream shop, exploring our sensory room and enjoying our soft play designed for all ages - there’s something for everyone to discover!"
Tickets are available to book now via the Little Wonder Street website.
