A Hornchurch man has been banned from Notting Hill Carnival for a year after he was caught carrying a knife.
D’angelo Lewis Williams was found in possession of a large hunting knife and canister of nitrous oxide on Sunday, August 30.
The 40-year-old appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court last Thursday (September 24).
He pleaded guilty to possession of a knife in public and possessing nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation.

Lewis Williams, of Maygreen Crescent, was sentenced to six months in custody suspended for 18 months.
The court heard this was his second conviction for a weapons offence.
As part of the sentence, he was banned from attending next year’s Notting Hill Carnival.
