Plans have been submitted for five new signs and nine printed graphics at the M&S Food Store, which is currently under construction at Queen's Hospital.
Two of these proposed signs will feature the brand logo in black lettering, while the graphics around the side of the building are set to promote certain M&S products and list the opening hours.
The proposals were put forward by WHSmith, which has been a franchise partner of M&S since 2012 and runs 21 M&S Simply Food stores across the country.

Havering Council granted planning permission for the new shop in June, alongside two flexible-use retail pods, all located within the entrance forecourt of Queen's Hospital.
The relocation and refurbishment of the existing fruit hut also featured in the plans, to allow for the creation of a "small-scale market square environment" at the front of the hospital.
Longer-term improvements are in the pipeline, including the removal of Costcutter and the transformation of the existing Costa branch into an artisan coffee shop.
Works started on the new M&S in July, with a section of the entrance forecourt dug up.
The council is expected to make a decision on the signs application by November 5.
