A convicted rapist and a man linked to a homicide investigation are among the Londoners on the Crimestoppers most wanted list.
The Crimestoppers charity collates appeals and information from police forces across the country.
As of September 2026, these are the wanted men and women who police believe may be in London.

Shasho Mohammedi
Sasho Mohammedi is wanted on recall to prison having been released from HMP Belmarsh in south east London.
He has links to Hounslow, as well as various other areas in the UK including Bolton, Slough, Fleetwood, Leicestershire and Portsmouth.
He has also been known to go by Sware Hame, Shaho Mohammadi and Lala.
Liam Byron
Liam Byron is wanted on a recall to prison issued on August 15, 2024.
He was originally in prison for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Crimestoppers said he is thin, around 5ft4 tall and has short cropped hair.
Alexandru Oprea
Alexandru Oprea is wanted for rape.
He was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for rape, sexual assaults, indecent exposure and other offences in June after he failed to attend his trial.
The offences were committed in Essex in 2023.
Oprea has links to London, Leicester and Romania.
He has sleeve style tattoos on both arms, on his chest and his stomach.
His victim said: "I have waited three years for this moment, I am praying every day that he will be found as soon as possible, people like him do not deserve to be free with no consequences.
"I am still struggling to calm myself because after the sentencing it feels like everything is coming back to my mind.
"I am extremely grateful for all the support."
Pierre Thompson
Police are searching for Pierre Thompson, 41, from west London, as part of their enquiries into a murder.
Simon Whyte, 55, died after being shot on Harrow Road in Stonebridge, at approximately 9.35pm on December 19, 2025.
Detective Inspector Jim Barry, who is leading the investigation, said: "Today marks six months since Simon’s death and his family and friends are continuing to come to terms with their loss.
"They are desperate for answers as to what happened that evening and we have already carried out extensive enquiries to build up a picture of the events of that night.
"We are now appealing to the public to help us progress our investigation and would urge anyone who knows the whereabouts of Pierre Thompson to contact police or independent charity Crimestoppers immediately."
Fabian Maxwell
Fabian Maxwell is wanted on recall to prison.
He has links to Burgess Hill, Lewisham and Bromley.
Yuxuan Yang
Yuxuan Yang, also known as Owen, is wanted for failing to appear at a magistrates court in North Wales.
He had been charged with meeting a girl under 16 following grooming, sexual activity with a female under 16, causing of inciting a female under 16 to engaged in sexual activity and making indecent photographs of children.
Yang, aged in his late 20s, previously resided in central London.
He is approximately 5ft10, slim and has black hair.
Rayan Mayou
Rayan Mayou, who may also go by Jacob Janvier, is wanted on suspicion of robbing a high value watch.
The alleged the victim had their watch stolen at Regents Park Underground Station by two individuals.
Mayou's last known address was in Croydon.
He is in his early 20s.
Adam Bucholc
Adam Bucholc is wanted in relation to extradition proceedings.
He is believed to frequent the Haringey area.
He wears glasses and has a tattoo on his left arm and hand.
Reece Westley Jillings
Reece Westley Jillings is wanted on suspicion of conspiracy to import and supply cocaine.
It relates to a Met Police investigation named Operation Detox.
Jillings is in his 40s, approximately 5ft8 tall and has a "croaky London accent".
Beauty Chikonzelo Chaima
Beauty Chikonzelo Chaima is wanted on suspicion of illegal immigration offences at Heathrow Airport.
She is suspected of attempting to facilitate three people arriving from Ethiopia.
She may be in London or the East Midlands.
Muhammed Babar Bashir
Muhammed Babar Bashir, originally from Pakistan, is wanted on suspicion of illegal immigration offences.
A warrant was issued by Manchester Crown Court on January 29, 2019.
He may be in London, Manchester, Lancashire or Yorkshire.
Patrick McDonagh
Patrick McDonagh is wanted for failing to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on October 2024.
He is known to have links to London and Buckinghamshire.
He's in his mid-30s and is around 5ft10 tall.
He has a distinctive scar above his left eyebrow.
Ionut Bodea
Ionut Bodea is wanted on suspicion of failing to attend court in North Wales in February 2023 where he was charged with high value shoplifting offences.
He has links to London and the North West of England.
He is in his early 40s and is a Romanian national.
Mikheili Zvladadze
Mikheili Zvladadze is wanted on suspicion of failing to appear at court in North Wales in January 2024.
He has links to London as well as Manchester, Sussex and Hampshire.
He is in his early 30s, around 5ft10 tall and of medium build.
He is in his late 40s, has a beard and is of a large build.
Nicolae Anghel
Nicolae Anghel is wanted on a warrant for failing to appear at court for extradition offences.
He was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on January 24.
