A 12-year-old boy was reportedly robbed at knifepoint.
The robbery took place in High Ongar in a field near Mill Lane.
The boy was approached from behind by two people dressed in black and wearing masks, who demanded his bike.
One of the suspects was riding a red bike and it was reported that one of them was carrying a knife.

Both suspects then rode away from the scene.
An investigation is under way with officers appealing for information.
They are asking anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage or other details to come forward.
