A man has pleaded guilty to burgling an Indian restaurant in Upminster.
Perry Panter, 41, admitted to entering Kaani Kaana on St Mary’s Lane with the intent to steal.
The burglary took place on March 18 this year.
Panter, who is of no fixed address, entered his guilty plea on Tuesday (August 18).

Panter has been granted unconditional bail while awaiting his next court appearance.
A pre-sentence report is now being prepared ahead of his next hearing.
He is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court for a mention hearing on September 29.
Kaani Kaana recently won the title of best takeaway in Essex at the England Business Awards 2026.
