The Sunday Doubles Tenpin Bowling Handicap League season came to a close at Rollerbowl, Collier Row, on Sunday with its annual charity event in aid of local organisation Ambition Aspire Achieve.
Bowlers raised a total of £540, helped by Rollerbowl's generous decision to donate the cost of lane hire to the charity.
The women's competition was closely contested, with just 29 pins separating the six participants.
Lisa Sherear claimed top spot with a score of 527, narrowly ahead of Alina Costea on 525, while Nadine Simmons finished third with 521.
Paul Mitchell was the clear winner of the men's section with a score of 740.
Curt North took second place with 611, while Jamie Kingston was third on 591.
The league now breaks for the summer break and will return in September.
