The headteacher of an Upminster school recently praised by Ofsted said she is "immensely proud" of the report and put the findings down to the "hard work of our incredible students".
The full report for the Cooper's Company and Coborn School in St Mary's Lane was published on June 25 after the education watchdog visited on May 12.
Ofsted was full of praise for the secondary school and highlighted the fact that students "move on to ambitious education and employment destinations" after their education.
Headteacher Sue Hay told the Recorder she was "absolutely delighted" with what inspectors said.
She said: "The report is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our teaching staff, the hard work of our incredible students, and the continuous support from our families.
"To see our high academic standards and sixth form successes recognised so clearly is incredibly rewarding."
The school was deemed to be performing at a "strong standard" in the four categories of achievement, attendance and behaviour, curriculum and teaching, personal development and wellbeing and post-16 provision.
It was found to be meeting the "expected standard" in the other two categories - inclusion and leadership and governance.
Ms Hay said: "We are immensely proud that inspectors saw how the high quality of our teaching directly reflects in the exceptional work our pupils produce.
"Our focus has always been on ensuring that students aren't just memorising facts, but are building secure literacy, reading with fluency, and confidently linking complex ideas across subjects.
"Seeing this robust academic environment - paired with the way our staff quickly identify and close learning gaps - recognised as a 'strong standard' is fantastic affirmation of our daily classroom practice."
Whilst Ofsted inspectors credited the school's GCSE and A-level results which were above average, Ms Hay said she believes education extends "far beyond exam results".
She added: "Our exceptional extra-curricular provision - whether on the sports field, in the concert hall, or through our varied clubs - is designed to uncover and nurture the unique talents of every student.
"Seeing our pupils excel nationally and enjoy these opportunities is a massive point of pride for the Coopers' community."
The Ofsted report was also complimentary of pupils' behaviour and the emphasis put on the school's personal development plans.
Ms Hay said: "Our unique behaviour curriculum and house system empower students to focus in the classroom while developing the personal resilience, kindness, and citizenship skills they need for life after school."
