A former The Only Way Is Essex (Towie) star was spotted filming with a puppy at an east London park.
Pete Wicks was spotted by a member of the public around 12.30pm yesterday (July 1) at Wanstead Park near the tea hut.
He was pictured holding what looks to be a black Labrador puppy in a yellow harness and lead.
One picture shows him sat on a bench, checking his watch with the dog in his lap.
A woman holding a camera can be seen in front of him.
The passer-by who spotted Wicks told this paper: "I feel like a stalker but not!
"I just got lucky as I love him, but felt silly so didn't speak to him.
"I was just happy to see him in real life - a lovely surprise to a miserable day."
It is unclear for certain what Wicks was filming for but he has hosted a documentary series named Pete Wicks: For Dogs' Sake since January 2025.
The show follows him working with Dogs Trust to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome vulnerable dogs.
Series three aired from January 2026 and won best lifestyle show at the 2026 TV Choice Awards.
The fourth series was officially announced on May 8 this year and will air on U and U&W later this year, with a two-part special following in early 2027.
Previous series were filmed primarily at Dogs Trust's rehoming centre in Basildon, but series four is expected to involve travels across the country to various Dogs Trust centres.
Wicks first rose to fame in 2015 when he joined the cast of ITVBe's The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) for its fifteenth series, going on to become one of the show's more prominent cast members until his departure in 2021/ 2022.
He has a long-standing love for dogs and adopted Eric - a French bulldog - from Dogs Trust Basildon in 2016.
A year later, Wicks joined up with Humane Society International and rescued 170 dogs from a dog meat farm in Namyangju, South Korea.
Wicks described this as "one of the most emotional experiences of my life".
