A care centre has been praised for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Brentwood Care Centre, which offers nursing, residential, and dementia care, received a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.
Inspectors commended the home for its focus on personalised care, promoting independence, and treating residents with kindness and dignity.

Maria Siia, general manager at Brentwood Care Centre, said: "This report is particularly special because it reflects the experiences of the people who live here and the families who place their trust in us every day. We believe that great care starts with truly knowing the individual.
"Every resident has their own story, preferences, goals, and aspirations, and the team works incredibly hard to ensure care is tailored around what matters most to them."
Residents and relatives spoke fondly of the care they receive, describing positive relationships with staff and the thoughtful, individualised support on offer.
One resident told inspectors: "The staff are very kind and caring and meet all my needs here."
A relative said: "Staff know my mum well and really understand how best to support her."
CQC inspectors highlighted the team's ability to listen and adapt care for people living with dementia, physical disabilities, complex conditions, or those at the end of life. The report described a resident who had arrived at the home requiring significant support after an illness.
Through tailored care and rehabilitation, the resident regained confidence and is now preparing to move into independent living.
Ms Siia said she was especially proud to see the report recognise efforts to help residents regain and maintain their independence.
She said: "Seeing someone rebuild their confidence, achieve personal goals and look positively towards the future is one of the most rewarding parts of working in care. This outcome belongs to every member of the Brentwood Care Centre team.
"Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to residents shine through every day, and I am incredibly proud of what has been achieved together."
The CQC rating reflects the centre's progress and the team's dedication to creating a welcoming environment where residents can lead fulfilling, independent lives.
