Artwork is brightening up high streets in the final week of this year’s Brentwood Art Trail.
Running until June 28, the event spans Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone and features events and creative activities for all ages.
A pop-up gallery at unit 10, The Baytree Shopping Centre, has drawn more than 1,000 visitors since opening on May 30.

Sarah Walmsley, manager of Brentwood Connected Business Improvement District (BID), said: "This year’s Brentwood Art Trail has been a fantastic collaboration between our businesses and the Essex creative community.
"Through our Guided Tours, we’ve enjoyed introducing members of the public to a variety of places to eat, drink, shop and enjoy, with many people discovering new places as a result of taking part in the Trail."
The gallery, open daily from 10am to 4pm, features artists in residence and a wide range of artwork including acrylics, ceramics, textiles and photography. Visitors can also receive a free Brentwood Art Trail tote bag when they sign up for the Brentwood Connected newsletter at the gallery.
With more than 100 creatives involved and more than 70 businesses taking part, organisers say this is the largest Brentwood Art Trail to date. Guided tours across the three towns attracted more than 100 attendees, offering the chance to hear from exhibiting artists and explore the displays.
Ms Walmsley said: "We’ve been proud to have Brentwood School students so heavily involved this year with two exhibitions, and many of the 71 businesses hosting artwork have opened their doors for special creative events, including Figo, The Star Inn, Tom Howley and West End Interiors."
One newcomer to the trail is restaurant Figo.
Debbie Butcher, events manager at Figo, said: "We are so excited to be a venue on this year’s Brentwood Art Trail. We love getting involved in community events and being a hub for creativity in the High Streets is an absolute dream for us."
The final event of the trail will be held on June 27.
The Creative Community Showcase will bring together arts, culture and heritage groups outside the pop-up gallery from 11am to 3pm and will feature live performances. For more information, visit brentwoodarttrail.co.uk.
