Join Sparkle Walk 2026 for Haven House children’s hospice

Families, friends, colleagues and even four-legged companions are invited to step out for Sparkle Walk 2026, a vibrant community fundraising event hosted by Haven House Children’s Hospice..

Taking place on Saturday, June 6, the much-loved walk offers a choice of 5km or 10km routes through Buckhurst Hill, Highams Park, Woodford and Chingford. Open to people of all ages and abilities, the event promises a lively evening of fun, fundraising and community spirit.

Participants are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the atmosphere alongside fellow supporters.

Whether joining as a family, group of friends, workplace team or with a dog in tow, Sparkle Walk offers a memorable evening for everyone taking part.

Sarah Harris, head of Public Fundraising at Haven House Children’s Hospice, said: “Sparkle Walk is such a special event because it brings people together for an evening filled with fun, energy and community spirit.

"Whether you are taking part with family, friends, colleagues or your four-legged companion, it is a chance to enjoy a fantastic evening while supporting seriously ill children and their families.

“At Haven House, we are now caring for more children than ever before, with around 450 babies, children and young people relying on our specialist support.

"As our reach and care continues to expand across North East London, demand for our services continues to grow.

"Every person who signs up and fundraises through Sparkle Walk helps us continue providing vital care, therapies and support for families during the most challenging times imaginable.

“We cannot wait to see everyone come together for what promises to be a truly memorable evening.”

Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, supporting families through specialist respite and day care, therapeutic services including music therapy and end-of-life care.

As a charity, Haven House relies heavily on fundraising and community support to continue delivering its services to local families.
