Young Brentwood runners raced across the finish line of the London Marathon in a mini version of the iconic event.
Twelve pupils from Hogarth Primary School in Year 3, 4, and 5 took part in the Mini London Marathon, held the day before the main race on April 26.
The pupils ran 2.6km through the capital, crossing the world-famous finish line.

Lauren King, deputy headteacher at Hogarth Primary School, said: "It was an absolutely fantastic day for our keen runners. It is great for the whole school as it creates a real buzz, and that is what we try to do here at Hogarth; to give the children as many opportunities as possible.
"For them to be able to do these things is incredible."
Ms King, who herself is hoping to run the London Marathon next year, said: "The London Marathon is arguably the biggest marathon in the world. To be able to get involved in this way is just so special.
"Running can be for everyone. They do not have to become marathon runners after this, but it’s sparking a passion for something they can do with their family for free."
