A gymnastics centre at a school in Collier Row has been "significantly damaged" after a fire this morning.
The blaze broke out at Havering Gymnastics Centre, located at Bower Park Academy in Havering Road, and was reported shortly after 7am today (April 25).
A spokesperson from the London Fire Brigade confirmed the fire is now "under control" although some "deep pockets" remain.
Fire fighters will remain at the scene until these deep pockets are extinguished.
They said: "The building was significantly damaged.
"There was six fire engines that attended the scene.
"We are still at the scene, the fire is completely under control but there are some deep pockets of fire remaining that we're just monitoring and making sure they're out."
