An independent website that has done "all the homework" on 30,000 schools around the UK has revealed its top 10 secondary schools in Havering.
Data from School Guide, a website that assesses UK schools using official government performance data, Ofsted reports and parent feedback, has highlighted the borough’s highest-rated state secondary schools.
The site says: "Unbiased and updated daily, all of School Guide's information is from official sources and we offer a one-stop-shop for all key statistics.
"We add new information on schools every day and refresh all the data on the site every month so that the information is reliable, accurate and trustworthy.
"Based 100 per cent on official data, we have a unique system of grading schools to give parents a reliable snapshot of how each school performed in the last academic year."
School Guide also provides a short description of each school based on its most recent Ofsted inspection report, where available.
School Guide lists Sacred Heart of Mary Girls' School in St Mary's Lane, Upminster at the top of its rankings.
The school was deemed 'outstanding' in all five categories of quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and sixth form provision in its latest Ofsted report.
According to School Guide, 90 per cent of pupils at Sacred Heart of Mary Girls' School achieved a grade four or higher in five or more GCSEs including maths and English in the most recent exams.
The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls in Brentwood Road, Romford is next on the rankings.
A total of 67pc of pupils here achieved a grade four or higher in at least five GCSEs including maths and English and it was deemed 'outstanding' in three categories in its last visit from Ofsted.
The school scored 'good' in the categories of quality of education and sixth form provision.
The third highest ranked school according to School Guide's findings is St Edward's Church of England Academy in London Road, Romford.
St Edward's was described as 'good' in four categories during its last Ofsted inspection and 'outstanding' in its personal development of pupils.
According to the guide, 56pc of pupils achieved grades four or higher in five or more GCSEs last time out.
