A man has pleaded guilty to allowing two dogs to be dangerously out of control after a two-year-old girl suffered “potentially life-changing" injuries in a Romford attack.
The girl was seriously injured when she was attacked by two rottweilers at Raphael Park on February 2.
The mum of the girl wrote online that the dogs “threw her around like a doll” in a completely unprovoked attack.
She said her daughter was hospitalised with 10 punctures on her legs and arms, adding: “I don’t know how they didn’t kill her."
Nigel Gray, 63, of Heather Way in Romford, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (March 17) where he pleaded guilty to three charges of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control causing injury.
Two of the charges relate to the attack on the girl in Raphael Park, but the third dates back to 2024 when the same dogs attacked 75-year-old Richard Orr and his dog in Bedfords Park Walled Garden.
Richard’s dog, a small dachshund and cocker spaniel cross named Wilson, had to be put down after the attack., whilst Richard was bitten on the hand as he tried to protect him.

Gray’s case was sent to Snaresbrook Crown Court for sentencing at a later date.
He has been released on conditional bail until he is sentenced.
