A block of flats above a Mediterranean restaurant on Romford's high street is up for sale for more than £1m.

The 11 flats are situated above Ivy Tree on South Street, and have been spotted on the market on Zoopla.

Estate agents Marvel 71 Ltd have described the listing as a "prime residential investment opportunity", adding that there is "development potential".

The block of flats, known as Southmill Court, is fully self-contained, comprising of nine one-bed apartments and two studio flats.

According to the agent, the property offers "potential for further extension at the rear of the building", though it stresses this is subject to the necessary planning permissions.

The block of flats is for sale for £1,400,000.
