Seven play areas in parks across Romford could be refurbished if funding is secured.
Havering Council's parks team has identified seven play sites across the town which they think would benefit from a refresh.
These playgrounds are predominantly in Collier Row and Harold Hill, and include sites such as Rocket Park and Chelmsford Avenue Play Area.
In order for any refurbishment to go ahead, the council needs to secure external funding, with funding providers requiring evidence of how much communities value this spaces.
As such, the council has launched a consultation to gather views on improving play areas, which is open until March 30.
The council said: "Funding providers want to see how much local communities value their play spaces.
"By sharing your views, you can help us show why the play area in your local park matters and why it needs improving.
"Please take a few minutes to tell us what works well, what doesn’t, and how a refurbished play area would benefit children and families in your community."
