Take That fans will soon be able to see The Band – the smash-hit musical featuring the group's greatest hits – on stage in Brentwood.
Havering Music Makers, a musical theatre society based in Romford, will bring the feel-good production, written by award-winning playwright Tim Firth, to Brentwood Theatre from February 10 to 14.

Set in 1993, The Band tells the story of five 16-year-old girls whose lives revolve around their favourite boy band. The show follows their dreams, friendships and the music that defined their youth.
Twenty-five years later, the friends reunite in Prague to see the group one last time, rekindling old memories and rediscovering the connections that shaped their lives. The Band explores themes of friendship, growing up, and the enduring power of music.
The show features some of Take That’s biggest hits, including Never Forget, Back For Good, A Million Love Songs, Greatest Day, Shine, and Rule the World.
Havering Music Makers has assembled a cast including its own “boyband,” with Ms Harris Brett describing their performances as “fantastic.”
Written by Tim Firth, who also penned Calendar Girls, Kinky Boots, and the Madness musical Our House, the show combines a compelling narrative with an iconic soundtrack.
Performances will take place at 7.30pm from February 10 to 14. There will also be a matinee at 2.30pm on February 14.
