Dance lovers are being urged to snap up tickets for the return of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance's popular Strictly Air Ambulance fundraiser before it's too late.

The event, which features TV stars Lisa Snowdon, Dani Dyer and David Whiteley, will take place on March 14, at the Brentwood Centre from 7pm to 10.30pm.

Now in its 14th year, the dance spectacular raised £58,000 in 2025 to support the charity’s life-saving critical care services and helicopter operations.

Mark Jarman-Howe, CEO of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, said: "Strictly Air Ambulance is always a highlight of our fundraising calendar.

"The commitment shown by our dancers, sponsors and supporters helps ensure our crews can continue delivering advanced pre-hospital emergency care to those who need us most. We’re incredibly excited to see everyone come together again this March.”

Hosted by charity ambassador Lisa Snowdon and ITV presenter David Whiteley, the night will see seven contestants from across the region paired with professional dancers in a bid to win the Glitterball Trophy. Each performance will be inspired by this year’s "TV & Film" theme.

The judging panel will include TV personality Dani Dyer, Chelmsford Dance Centre director Phil Meacham, and British national professional showdance champion Ben Milan-Vega.

Special guests Vincent Simone of Strictly Come Dancing fame and his professional partner Victoria Martin will also perform on the night.

Competing couples for 2026 include Gaby Giedraite and Bruce Lait, Mike Flood and Jody De’Ath, Amelia Storey and Caleb Arslan, Bradley Collyer and Terri Bodell, Anna Staunton and Hayden Wise, Dean Vale and Elise Meacham, and Sara Tupper and Martin Adkins.

Contestants are currently in training and aiming to raise a combined £14,000 for the air ambulance service. Funds raised from the event will directly support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance’s pre-hospital critical care services.

The charity is appealing to local businesses for raffle and auction prize donations and can be contacted on 0345 2417 690 or by emailing contactus@ehaat.org.
